still deep in mom life. juggling a toddler, an 8-month-old, and feeling the weight of wanting to contribute financially. ugc has helped me not only feel more like myself in this season of motherhood but it’s bringing in extra money to help us pay off our debt faster. this whole journey is about becoming someone who can learn how to create content. you don’t have to have everything figured out on day 1. nobody does!! i’m 118 days in and i’m still learning how to: speak clearly on camera, cut the filler words, stay consistent, and edit more efficiently… i’ve seen what’s possible when you treat this like on-the-job training instead of something you “hope” just works out. things really do start to click much sooner than you’d expect. if you’re a stay-at-home mama like me, or just someone trying to make extra income in pockets of your day, ugc is worth trying. follow along so you don’t miss part 2! ————— simple ugc starter checklist: 1. pick 2-3 product types you already use (skincare, food, beauty, etc.) 2. practice talking clearly & confidently on camera 3. create a sample UGC video for each 4. upload them to a google drive. this is your portfolio. 5. start pitching to 3-5 brands each day. you can start with fiverr or even DM brands directly via instagram (this has personally worked really well for me). tip: post quality content consistently on instagram & tiktok for visibility equipment: 1. a good smartphone 2. a wireless mic (my mic is linked below if you want it) 3. a tripod comment any questions below 🩵
