I just chop mine off with nail clippers then put some aftershave on it. Never had any problems.

It's safe to remove them yourself, just get some nail clippers and tweezer. Did mine works a treat and doesn't hurt.

I let them grow bigger then I just twist them round push onto your skin then put sticky part of plaster on then it falls of after couple days
