@wholeparent: Why do kids take FOREVER to go to bed? Well, maybe its this. 7:00 bedtime for kids under 8 unless they nap. Trust me. Do it. #parenthack #parenting #sleeptraining #toddlerdad

When you have two parents that work until 5 it's next to impossible to do this 😕.

If my kid goes to bed ANY TIME before 9:00pm, she's up two and a half hours later. It was just a nap. She IS actually tired at 7, but if I let her ☠️

I have 2 wildlings. They are both WIRED at bedtime. Oldest (7) goes to bed fairly easily. Youngest (4) takes FOREVER.

This is so true for adults too. They push past their natural tired window. End up staying up till 2am lol

the hyperness is definitely a sign of overtired. I fine the opposite if it's taking upwards or an hour + to get them to sleep. that's not enough sleep

Might be correct but when you don't get home until 500/530 its hard to say you only get to see mom and dad for 90 min. Not to mention cooking dinner.

Bath every night at 6:30. Bedtime routine starts at 7, bed by 7:30. He is starting to slowly stall at 7:30 when nothing has changed

We have an 18 month old and a 3 year old and this is very true, you can see them start to bounce around full of energy you know they're over tired.

What most people don’t understand and I see it daily. Good sleep during the day = good sleep during the night. Waking with the sun is normal.
