@thebeardedplantaholic: Here’s an idea! Moss poles are great if you keep them moist but you do have to keep extending which annoys the hell out of me as I’m no pro. Wooden branches are great too, in high humidity the plants will stick themselves to the wood and works just as well! In low humidity you can strap them up to the branch and this is brilliant also… but what else could we do? Personally, and I know this isn’t for everyone but I use my walls and the wooden beams that I have been graced with! Some plants start to stick themselves after a while but to start with I use fencing nails (u shaped ones) to attach the stems and then I zip tie additional stems to the main stem or to the nails that are in place! As for my begonia maculata it is not a “climber” however it grows tall and is very fragile so I find bamboo canes and Velcro plant tie worked well to a certain size but now I have to hammock the stems with zip ties hanging off the fencing nails too. I’ve got some brilliant footage of me tying up the begonia to keep it growing big so I will share this with you soon! One love tiny phone people! ❤️🙌🏽🪴🙏🫶🏽 Ps: massive thank you to @pinewood_byclau for my incredible gift! I LOVE IT!!!! It now has prime spot at the jungle entrance! It’s even got it’s own light! 🙌🏽❤️😂🙏 legend! #houseplants #plants #plantsofinstagram #plantsmakepeoplehappy #indoorplants #urbanjungle #plantlover #houseplantsofinstagram #houseplantclub #plant #plantlife #plantstagram #indoorjungle #begonia #plantaddict #plantlove #plantsplantsplants #begoniamaculata #housejungle #pestcontrol #indoorgreenhouse #houseplant #howto #gardening #houseplantcommunity #urbanjunglebloggers #indoorjungle #indoorjungle #thebeardedplantaholic #plantparenthood
