Make a burger commercial! Challenge accepted @Voice123. It was a blast to get to do the Pt2/ another take on the burger commercial. The most exciting part was rebuilding the food dropper rig. More details are below. Real food for filming is damaged very quickly. I had a hard time with the ingredients like tomato, onions, and cheese because it breaks and gets messy quickly; natural components sometimes look good on camera. So you must use different materials to make it look good and decent. Here are some of the gear and setups used for making this video. 1) Voice over: As a product video and commercial director, I always seek new voice actors. For this commercial, I found the voice through @Voice123 - Many options for professional voice actors with broadcast-quality voices. The platform is free to use with no hidden fees, and they don't take any commission from the voice actors. Win-Win. Thanks @vanessamvoice 2) Lighting: for the super slow motion, you require much light power; I have used the @nanlite_global Forza 720b as a key light with paper diffusion to increase its area and soft distribution, Forza 500II B as a spotlight for the background and the forza60c as a rim light with its projector. Fill the shadows with white cardboard so almost everything uses standard 3-point lighting. 3) Camera: for the super slow-motion shoots, I use the Chronos 2.1 paired with the beautiful lenses @DZOfilm Gnosis macro 32mm, 65mm, 95mm 4) Rigging: I had to build a similar rig a long time ago, and it was time to update it, so I cut out aluminum to create a balance for the structure. I used three pneumatic rods, two to move the system on the Y-axis and a larger one to carry everything on the X-axis; these rods have plugged pressured air and are controlled by two solenoid valves, one for X and another Y, so by software I activate one valve at a time in a matter of milliseconds, so you have a consistent result (pro-tip weight your food or whatever you are dropping) if you have any questions or comments about this commercial, drop it below, I would love to discuss it with you. #burger #burgertime #filmtok #videographer #videography
