lotta people don’t know you gotta tune your exhaust as well on a 2t, expansion chambers are supposed to be tuned to increase the power band

This is almost like what the Mazda 787b had with the intake that would get longer at low mph and rpm for more torque and shorten at top end

The expansion chamber needs to be adjustable or inject water into expansion chamber to tune it .

In a 2 stroke the exhaust flow does work and adjusting chamber size adjusts power band rpm. Low for starting high for speed.

Because of that exaust expansion chamber, hp is gained and that movement of the pipe is for tuning the frequency, increasing pressure or lowering it..
