@travisparkeracademy: 1. Initial Cut Under Occipital Bone: Begin working underneath the occipital bone at the back of the neck. Keep the hair elevation at 0° for a clean, sharp line. Ask the client to lean their head forward, chin towards their chest, for the most accurate angle. 2. Above the Occipital Bone: Move to the section directly above the occipital bone. Make sure the client’s head is in an upright position. Hold this section of hair at one finger’s depth for precision. 3. Blow Dry: Proceed to blow dry the hair, allowing it to fall naturally. This helps you gauge how the final haircut will appear when styled. 4. Refining the Cut: Once the hair has dried and is falling naturally, refine the nape line. Cut the hair bluntly, and be sure to retract the shear as you’re closing it for a clean finish. 5. Texturizing: If you’re using texturizing shears to remove bulk, make sure to cut into the hair parallel to your initial cut line. This should be done on the outside or the surface of the cut. Let me know if this helps you with your bobs! ✂️🔥 #bobhaircut #bobstyle #howtocuthair #shorthair #hairdressingmadeeasy
