@hudsonandemily: This was the day we crossed the border into Afghanistan. We are sharing these videos after having concluded our time in Afghanistan, and looking back, visiting Afghanistan was one of the most difficult yet most joyful experiences on our trip to every country. There were countless people who went out of their way to welcome us and treat us like family. Our guide Ali and driver Ruhollah also went out of their way to make us feel like family, despite the unthinkable difficulties and even the current uncertainty that, like many people in Afghanistan, they are facing. We learned so much about the local culture and current situation of what it’s like to live in Afghanistan. We made so many new friends and are so inspired by people’s strength, joy, and kindness.
