🤦 😆 and let me say this before anyone comments ‘weaponized incompetence,’ Dad is v supportive and did more normal tasks too, but those don’t make good TikToks 😆 He also works 12-hour days as a doctor so Mom can afford help from a caterer 😉. I think ppl that get triggered by this trend had all-around uncaring dads/husbands so if they did this on a party day, it’d just be one more thing to be annoyed about. But for a lot of us, we have awesome dads/husbands who happen to throw in some random tasks on party days amid important tasks —and that just makes us laugh. I posted this to give other families a laugh because similar videos in this trend have made my parents and me laugh a lot in the past. And yes, I helped—that’s why I came by their house. My mom had normal hour-before party jitters but if she was actually panicked, I wouldn’t have been filming and dad wouldn’t have been playing w his rocks lol. She was laughing at him w me. Been on TT since 2020, so I know these disclaimers are needed lol.
