All of the GP’s I’ve spoken with act as if T3 is a forbidden word, never want to discuss it, won’t test the levels for it and just point blank refuse to entertain that it makes a difference.

Please leave a comment if anyone has experienced on t3, or their current medication is still leaving them symptomatic.

sadly thyroid patients out here know this due to the hell we live with... but getting a GP to give a s*** and do anything about it is another story!

But they NHS do not do a full thyroid panel I have to fight every time and God forbid the NHS does an antibodies test to monitor the inflammation for hashimotos and the lifestyle choice changes to reduce inflammation. Nor monitor weight fluctuation and dose adjustment as the symptom of hypothyroidism is weight gain and hypothyroidism is weightloss. But no don't follow the nice guidelines 😠

I saw an endocrinologist and they wouldn’t test my T3. Their solution is just up the levothyroxine! Is there any natural way to sort out T3?

They never test for this. Even if you ask. I’m so tired all the time. I’m either over or under prescribed and can’t get it right on meds

Unfortunately GP’s don’t listen to the patients symptoms just look at the blood works and say they all within range 🙄

I’ve been telling my Gp for 22 years I’m still unwell but they don’t listen & even at one suggested I have ME . I had to fight for a thyroid function test all that time ago & the only reason I managed to get one was my Gp was off sick so a stand in Gp allowed me to take the test & bingo I was diagnosed as an under active.
