@msnbc: Although their preliminary investigations into the Biden family have uncovered no evidence tying President Biden to any illegal action, Republicans moved forward with their impeachment inquiry last week. On Wednesday, the New York Times reported that former President Trump had been privately encouraging GOP lawmakers to move forward with impeachment, regularly calling pro-impeachment lawmakers and having dinner with Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene a couple days before Speaker McCarthy's announcement. During the dinner, Congresswoman Greene expressed to the former president that she wanted the impeachment inquiry to be, "long and excruciatingly painful for Joe Biden.” @TheRealPsaki reacts to the NYT report and explains how it exposes what Republicans are actually trying to achieve with their impeachment inquiry into President Biden.
