@thelostgirlsguide: One of my favourite women-specific gear items for the outdoors is a pee-cloth. It’s something so little but makes things so much more convenient. Especially when spending multiple days outside! I got back from a 10-day canoe trip and I barely used toilet paper because I clipped the cloth onto my bag and had it handy whenever I needed it. It’s a 3-layered fabric. The waterproof outside comes in different patterns and colours to make it fun. The inside is black and is infused with silver ions to make it more hygienic. You use the black absorbent side to wipe after peeing, fold it from a square into a triangle and snap it together. Then you can button it onto the outside of your backpack so it can dry quickly on-the-go. I rinse it out in streams and lakes and find it dries really quick. Even if it’s still damp, it works fine.
