are you sure you're supposed to press it? I have a release Latch for the gas flap inside the drivers door.

Hey! KIA Tech here. If the fuel door doesn't open, there should be a panel in the trunk with a pull tab on it to manually open it

O M G after 1.25 hours I got it open! I had to open and close the sliding door about 100 times
