@traveltwo: ad - 6 Unique experiences in Ireland with @kayak_uk For those who saw our last post, you’ll know we’ve been spending some time enjoying Ireland and the magical Wild Atlantic Way. It was our first time and we only had three days, so we wanted to make sure we got to see and do as much of this stunning wilderness as we could. We were so lucky to be greeted by so many locals along the way who pointed us in the direction of some of the things you won’t want to miss: 📍Glencolumbkille Folk Village – Step back in time and explore this remote mythical hillside village overlooking Glen Bay beach and the epic surrounding cliffs. 📍Wild Ireland – Walk through ancient Celtic woodland inhabited by rescued animals that once called this place home. You’ll see wolves, bears, lynxes and so much more - all saved from being exploited, abused, and hunted. 📍Lough Eske Castle - Once the home of 14th century clans of Donegal, the renovated castle now offers a luxury hotel escape. It even has its own beautiful spa and amazing restaurant, so after a long day exploring there’s nowhere better to come back to. 📍Enniscrone Seaweed Baths - With its high concentration of vitamins and iodine, the benefits to seaweed baths on the body are well documented. Few places offer you the experience as naturally and reasonably as these baths situated right by Ireland’s coast. 📍Bundoran Beach – This impressive and vast beach is popular with surfers and beginners alike. There are lots of great surf schools, like the lovely team at Murf’s Surf School, who go out of their way to ensure you are riding waves in no time. 📍Olde Castle Bar & The Reel Inn - Two spots in the quaint town of Donegal where you can get a real taste of authentic Ireland and meet many of the locals who make it so special. Live music, a great pint of Guinness and some insider tips on where to head next, what more could you want? If you have any questions about planning a visit, just let us know. @Tourism Ireland #FillYourHeartWithIreland #wildatlanticway #discoverireland #visitireland #ireland #travelireland
