@eats_jess: Tteokbokki, spicy korean rice cakes ❤️ Ingredients: - 200 g rice cake - 1 cup of water / chicken stock - 1 tbsp gochujang (korean red pepper paste) - 1/2 tbsp gochugaru (korean red pepper flakes) - 1 tbsp sugar - 1/2 tbsp soy sauce - 1 cup green cabbage, cut into 1-2 inches - 1 sheet korean fishcake, sliced - 1/2 green onion, chopped - 1 boiled egg (optional) Instructions: 1. Soak rice cake in water for at least 10 minutes 2. In a pan, add in water, gochujang, gochugaru, sugar and soy sauce. Bring to the boil 3. Drain rice cakes and add to the sauce. Let it simmer for 5 minute until rice cakes is soften and chewy 4. Add in fishcake and cabbage. Let it simmer for another 3-5 minutes. Make sure to stir frequently to prevent rice cake sticking 5.
