In this video clip, the featured speaker delivers a direct breakdown during a street interview regarding the policy of taxing high incomes at seventy percent. The discussion begins as the speaker addresses whether earnings above two million dollars should face a seventy percent tax rate, firmly asserting that such a rate destroys the economic incentive to continue working. Trade 600+ tokenized stocks instantly. 24/7. No brokerage needed. Start your journey at: solflare.com 💸 The speaker outlines a series of core arguments, noting that a seventy percent marginal tax rate on income above two million dollars—such as the proposed threshold discussed in the interview—fundamentally alters economic incentives. He emphasizes the practical consequences of such tax structures, pointing out that business owners would stop working for the year, furlough their employees, and shift to playing golf rather than working for thirty cents on the dollar. The video concludes with the speaker drawing a firm boundary on excessive taxation, clarifying that while generating income up to the two million dollar limit is acceptable, he will never work for thirty cents on the dollar. His final takeaway underscores that punitive tax structures destroy productive economic output and force producers out of the market. #TaxPolicy #EconomicPolicy #StreetInterview #FreeMarket #Capitalism
