Had problems with Samsungs type c. After a while cable just wouldn’t stick in good enough and would easily slide out. I like lightning more

USB C is far the better tech, it'll be like saying a DVD player is better than a Blu Ray because it's easier to fix. move with the times.

As a gamer i can tell you, none of my devices has a broken cable or port for the USB-C 😂 And i have controller, keyboards, mouse, phones, exc.

used all 3 types and never had any of them fail but I'm careful when I remove but agree the lightning is better physically but not data transfer

The cable strength of the lightning cable is equivalent on the weight of the iPhone… so ur cable can hold ur iPhone 1/2

I never saw broken type c port. I never saw broken type c cable plug. I saw tons of broken lighting cable plugs, because it is made of plastic.

Durability is irrelevant if the port lacks all the features. Common standard is great progress. Next version will be even better.
