it is more than likely a mandatory court appearance citation which means you have to appear in court. Call the Court and double check though.

California will give a date that citation has to be cleared..a notice to plead no contest and a bail amount is sent by mail to clear it…

not all tickets have the ability to pay without a court date. sounds like this is one of them. call the clerk and show up on the court date

They’re calling it a moving violation. Just get one of the ticket lawyers to represent you. A lot easier and faster
