@lcseed: Introducing the rainwater collecting system! When it rains, water flows off of the metal roof and into the gutter, which feeds into a 250 gallon tank. Based on the roof size and the average amount of precipitation we get in Portland, we estimate that we can collect 1,928 gallons of water a year. To keep up with all the Portland rain, we’ve installed a rainwater trench to gather the overflow from our existing tank. We’ll use this water to fill our pond and water our native Oregon pollinator garden☔️🦋🐝#rainwatersystem #rainwaterharvesting #sustainableliving #pollinatorgarden
