I’m in Michigan and there’s a town named Paw Paw after the fruit. The fruit trees grew so abundantly along the river they named the town after it.

just tried one the other day, they grow around Ohio everywhere. it was mostly seeds...didn't get much out of it but it tasted ok.

A great place to try paw paws is at Farmhaus Restaurant in Lindenwood Park where they’re coming up with some desserts with the fruit
