Our tech used something similar to patch over a small tear then put the dicor over top to seal it

Ok I do rv repair have for over 15 years I use eterna bond on sky lights but I do a double seal I put lap sealant let it dry so to speak eterna bond then lap sealant around the eterna bond it works
