@RODZEL:Traditional or some conventional doctors are still focusing on Cholesterol, that is needed by our peripheral tissues, muscles, pancreas disrupting the beta cells producing INSULIN- hence resulting diabetes 2. Our brain needs large amount of cholesterol also, lessening cholesterol can potentially cause dementia. Even our Nitric Oxide which regulates blood vessels Vasodilation to ensure widening of vessels to prevent constriction causing high blood pressure but in the absence of Insulin as a result of cholesterol reduction, hence body cant produce Nitric oxide. You cant synthesize vitD if theres not cholesterol on skin, hence no VitD3 that is converted to calcidiol at liver, then converted to calcitriol at kidney that is needed for effective metabolism of calcium at our intestine. Its been a wrong practice to use one baseline or borderline cholesterol 200. Logically it must not be one size fits all. What can be high cholesterol to a small individual can be low to a bigger individual, lowering their cholesterol will compromise the ample cholesterol needed by peripheral tissue of a bigger individual. Cholesterol borderline should be INDIVIDUALIZE - age gender & SIZE, and theres a mathematical computation for these. 😔
