noticed u pulled all push rods out and placed in a pile. shouldn't u place the same rods etc back into the same position when reassemble 🤔

It’s not even dangerous. Impact sockets just work better because they weigh more. More inertia.

So the psi actually blasted a hole thru the piston? Or a mixture of a stuck open injector and it burning simultaneously?

I had this happen to an 8.3 customer didn’t want complete overhaul and everything else looked good so one hole wonder is what they got. One at a time

How do you prevent huff and puff from happening? I got a 2005 2500 with a 5.9 Cummins with 200k miles on it, and it’s still going strong.
