Wakanda Forever seemed to tease M'Baku's future as King of Wakanda, but the pressure of this job could lead to him taking on a more villainous streak. He may even become the Man-Ape as he does in Marvel Comics, enhanced with abilities similar to the Black Panther without ingesting the heart-shaped herb. M'Baku becoming a villain in Black Panther 3 would put a spin on the ally-turned-enemy trope, as he is perhaps Shuri's most trusted friend.
