Even if you’re not a baseball fan, this tour of Fenway Park was such an awesome experience. I have a special place in my heart for Fenway- I’ve seen some of the best concerts of my life here (Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones), it’s an iconic staple in Boston where I grew up, and I also think Fever Pitch is an underrated movie 😂. But really, if you’re visiting the city, definitely do this tour. I booked the tour through @Viator Travel , my go-to for experiences all around the world - the tour was an hour long, under $35, and the Fenway guides were so friendly and knowledgeable, a couple of them were even season ticket holders. We got to go on top of the wall known as the Green Monster - fun fact: Benjamin Moore sells this exact green paint color under the “Green Monster name”. We saw Fenway Farms, a roof garden that the restaurants within Fenway use for vegetables and herbs. We made our way inside the press box behind home plate, the best view in the house. Sat in these seats dating back to 1932, and walked through the “Visitor’s Clubhouse where the other team prepares before a game. Some of my favorite fun facts about Fenway: when it opened in 1912, It was illegal to play sports on a Sunday within 1000 feet of a church, affecting Fenway For 20 years. The rule was eventually lifted in 1932. The first person to hit a home run here outside of Red Sox players was Babe Ruth. Fenway had a record-breaking streak of 820 sellout games from 2003 to 2013. After the tour, I of course got a beer at @Cask ‘N Flagon Fenway ; saw more of the famous Citgo sign. It was just an overall really nice experience and I’m so happy I squeezed this in during my trip to Boston. . . . . #fenwaypark #redsox #baseballlife #bucketlisttravel #thingstodoinboston #newenglandtiktok #usatravel #thingstodoinusa
