It very well may be one of the most favorite recipes out there, but I think there’s always room for one more! This chocolate chip banana bread is moist, delicious, and something I’d call amazing. You’ll love it as much as I do! INGREDIENTS - 8 tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature - 3/4 cup light brown sugar - 2 large eggs - 2 cups mashed bananas (about 4 large bananas) - 1/3 cup Greek yogurt - 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract - 2 cups all-purpose flour - 1/2 tsp kosher salt - 1 tsp baking soda - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips INSTRUCTIONS - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease one 9×5 loaf pan and set it aside. - In a bowl, combine the butter and sugar. Beat until it is creamed, 3-5 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition until incorporated. Add the mashed banana, Greek yogurt, and vanilla extract. Beat until incorporated and smooth. - Pour in the flour, salt, and baking soda. Fold to combine until a few dry streaks of flour remain. Then add the chocolate chips and fold to finish incorporating. - Pour into the prepared loaf pan. To help create a center crack, if desired, run a knife down the middle of the batter, touching the bottom of the pan. Bake in the preheated 350°F oven until it is golden brown on top and a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean, 60-65 minutes. Once baked, remove from the oven and cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Remove from the pan and cool fully before slicing.
