@hellomisslou: First night of@The TENG Company’s sold-out ‘Once Upon A Full Moon’ was a blast! Not only was it like a reunion with old friends - I was previously invited as a guest singer for their Fullerton Hotel concert ‘Where the River Always Flows’ in 2018, and also collaborated on their arrangement of 《一剪梅》A Spray of Plum Blossoms during Covid - it was so heartwarming to see children dancing away and the very diverse crowd enjoying their East-West blend of using traditional Chinese instruments and western instruments in the same ensemble to play modern arrangements of Western Classical music, English and Chinese pop music, and original compositions! The TENG Company also highlighted their young scholars who have benefited from the program, and it was truly amazing to see how they’re moulding the next generation of artists and audiences. Can’t wait for the next two nights! One show down, two more to go ❤️
