Real shit. I stayed at a Hotel LiveMax and for ¥100, I could “dry” my clothes. It took 3 cycles to dry 3 shirts & 2 pairs of jeans!

Our air bnb had a washer and dryer. My daughter used it for like 3 pieces. It took forever. My husband and I went to the laundromat 20 steps away

After 200 mins of wash/dry, I always have to do another 30 min dryer for 100 yen. So total of 230 min and it’s still a little damp

Stayed in Tokyu Stay Tsukiji this year, and the washing machine/dryer was amazing! quick and dryer everything!No coins or powder needed, all included!

Most modern japanese bathrooms have a drying function on the shower room. Hang clothes in there turn the dryer on boom dry clothes. Not fast though.
