@orientalpearl_anming7: Japan’s biggest slum isn’t what you’d expect. The area formerly known as Kamagasaki in downtown Osaka has seen 24 riots since the 1960s. That’s how it got it’s reputation as Japan’s most dangerous neighborhood. However, the 30,000 residents here are quickly aging and the atmosphere has changed a lot. Kamagasaki is a “no-go”area for most Japanese people, but more and more foreign tourists are being drawn here by cheap hotels. Could this revive the area or damage it?
