BMW say you can't, I recall the BRMA whatever they're called say no. It's a personal choice, I personally don't but others do.

you've got to be careful with runflat tyres. I had a customer come in with a buldge after a repair inside looked ok but had obviously been run on flat

Wrong, normal tyres you can tell if the sidewalls are damaged, runfluts you can't, they can separate without knowing, it is unsafe, don't repair a RF

Big missing caveat is that it can’t have been run under inflated else it’s should not be repaired.
