In my boys school, the mobile is confiscated for 2 weeks if they are caught using them at lunch!

back in the 70's their was no mobile phones to have in school. so I am sure they can do without their phones for the day

My son’s school banned phones last year, it’s absolutely brilliant!!! The kids interact with each other now and being without a phone becomes normal.
