no no, a Kollege is just someone you're working with. not necessarily a friend😅 in some parts of Germany it is used as a synonym for friend, though.

Work colleagues are "Arbeitskollegen", a "Kollege" does Not have to be from work and is closer than an Arbeitskollege but not yet a Freund.
