mine was same. protein diet 24hours before. no strenuous activities also and nothing but water after midnight

They told me to fast 6 hrs before my scan on 10/9 and eat light day before I’m assuming. My appt is at 2:30 imma be starving 😩

Interesting I wasn’t limited on any food just couldn’t eat four hours prior to the scan.

They didn’t put me on a special diet, I just couldn’t eat after a certain time and had to drink water only after a certain time

Good luck tomorrow. They never limited me on carbs though. I think it depends on the type of radio isotope they use though. 🤷🏼♀️

They didn’t tell me to follow any sort of diet for mine 😬 and I only had one right before treatment, they won’t do another one

I’ve had 5826384 PET scans lol and they never told me about the diet! Just no eating 8 hrs before, no exercise & blood sugar under 200 😩

I was never told to eat anything special, I’ve had 2. I even work w/ the Nuc Med techs that run the PET.

Maybe it depends on type of PET scan? I had one done at beginning and it didn’t require any dietary changes. Good luck to you tomorrow 💕
