A Sexual Harm Prevention Order was also issued to him, prohibiting him from interacting with children until further notice. Judge Egbuna stated:

These [offences] were obviously premeditated. You specifically targeted at-risk youngsters. You were in a position of trust, you separated your victims from their families, and you groomed them. Your abuse has had serious repercussions, and many consider the term "significant" to be an understatement. Judge Egbuna went on to say that although Ditchfield had also mistreated two young girls, he believed that he had only done this to give himself sex when he tried to trick people into believing he was in relationships with women. Having ruled over this case, I concur that [it is asserted] you are dangerous," he stated. You would obviously use any kind of dishonesty to get what you want. You are a crafty and manipulative man, which I witnessed firsthand while you were testifying. A Sexual Harm Prevention Order was also issued to Ditchfield, prohibiting him from interacting with children until further notice. "The sheer scale of Andrew Ditchfield's offending is staggering," stated Chris Knowles of the Crown Prosecution Service. The prosecution of this case has painted a picture of the defendant's unrelenting criminality, preying on the most vulnerable youngsters they could locate and causing unimaginable destruction to their lives. Ditchfield presented himself as the attention-seeking and exciting person that people believed they desired in their lives. He tricked carers and family into believing in him. Survivors felt alone and isolated as a result of this trust being betrayed. It makes sense that others have come forward after learning about the case and the investigation. The fact that every victim of Andrew Ditchfield has had a voice is crucial. As a result, we have developed a case that has exposed Andrew Ditchfield as a dangerous and cunning predator. He has denied responsibility and lied about his activities even during his trial. Rather, he blamed his victims, saying they had conspired to fabricate their accusations. He is solely to fault, as demonstrated by the jury's guilty convictions and today's punishment. I hope that the survivors of this horrible assault will benefit in some way from having their voices heard in court.
