@lawcombe: Replying to @L🧶 remaking the my mum made it bag from scratch what you will need : sewing machine and hand sewing bedsheet/ any fabric polyfill stuffing 1. Mapped out the design on tracing paper (not needed) ended up using the sketch in the video - Did 35cm x 35cm for the face of the bag - 12cm x 35cm for length ways (repeat for the sides of the bag) 2. Cut two of those maps on fabric (inside facing out), set that aside. 3. Cut out 2 strips of fabric (10cm x 45cm) for the bag handles, I folded them in half (inside out ) sewed down one side (length way so it’s like a tube) and flipped inside out (darker side of the fabric now facing out & hiding the seams) 4. sewed one end of the tube and filled it with stuffing then sewed down the other end (repeat this process again for 2 straps) 5. sewed main body (length way) and flipped right side out (hiding seams) 6. tucked the edges into themselves, placed the handles in to sew across to seal one end (stitching will be showing) 7. sewed a line down the middle (35cm long) and stuffed the two sides 8. sewed across the middle over the stuffing (width way) to make 4 different boxes, sewed the bottom of 35cm to seal everything in for the front face 9. cut up an old reusable bag to make the flooring abit sturdy, inserted and sewed off the floor 10. repeat step 7 & 8 11. cut 4 pieces of 12cm x 35cm (for the side) sew 3 sides of the rectangle (inside out) leave one side open for stuffing, turn right side out and fill 12. tuck ends in and sew (stitch will be visible) and sew down the middle (to make two boxes) repeat step 11 & 12 again 13. hand sew the sides to the bag, stitching will be visible 14.
