@apexdogtraining: Muzzles can be scary, uncomfortable and usually when a dog is wearing a muzzle they have felt or probably feel stressed/ heightened in a certain situation. Rather than compulsively forcing a muzzle onto the dog when it’s needed. We should teach our dogs how to put the muzzle on themselves. Not only is this empowering, but it also gives the dog the illusion of choice in the matter.
