I just want to say first: I have not been to every club on this list. This is based on my experiences, what I remember, and a lot of research, including talking to both my Korean friends and international friends who have been out in Seoul. ✨ So this list is a mix of: -personal experience -recommendations from locals -what people consistently say is good Also, nightlife in Seoul can be VERY different depending on the day, the event, and even the time you go, so always check opening hours & events before going. 🎉HONGDAE My biggest recommendation: don’t stay in just ONE club. Hongdae is FULL of clubs and bars. All super close to each other. There’s literally a whole street where you can just walk, explore, and choose what matches your vibe. 💃🏻 It’s a younger crowd, very lively, packed almost every day of the week, both Koreans and foreigners. Music-wise, you’ll find everything: hip-hop, EDM, house, even Latin 💃🏻 Some places offer free entry or free drinks (especially for girls), and it’s VERY easy to just go club hopping. 🍾GANGNAM I didn’t list many clubs here on purpose. From what I’ve been told (and partially experienced), Gangnam is very strict, especially for foreigners. Dress code, looks matter a lot here. I personally and my other friends got in, so I know it’s possible. But I also know people who didn’t get in at all. So it really depends. That’s why I only mentioned clubs where I (or people I know) actually got in as foreigners. Some things to know: -entry rules can be very strict -girls sometimes pay (often including a drink, sometimes not), sometimes the entry is for free -groups of guys may need to book a table -tables = minimum spend and can be VERY expensive 💸 It also depends a lot on the day (weekends are stricter) and the event. Do bit of research before you go. 💙 🌍 ITAEWON This is honestly the favorite area for so many people I’ve talked to. Very international, very open, and super easy to meet people. It’s similar to Hongdae in the sense that there’s a whole street full of clubs, bars, and even restaurants, so again, club hopping is the best option. You won’t have any problems getting in here. Promoters often come up to you offering free drinks or entry, especially on weekends. At the end of the day, everyone has a different experience. What works for one person might not work for another and the experiences are different.💕 If you’ve been out in Seoul, let me know your experiences!! And if you’re planning a trip: ask me anything, I got you. 🥹✨ #travel #fyp #korea #seoul #nightlife
