The incident unfolded on September 20th, with Hargreaves initially crashing his gold Toyota SUV into a private residence, seemingly in an attempt to intimidate or harass the homeowner, who was known to him. Subsequently, Hargreaves proceeded to the police station, where he drove his SUV straight through the building, ultimately ending up in the squad room. County prosecutors reported that he then exited the vehicle and appeared to celebrate to the tune of "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N' Roses, which was blaring from his car radio. For the initial collision with the home, Hargreaves faces charges of burglary, criminal mischief, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and harassment. However, for the deliberate crash into the police station, he is facing even more serious charges, including terrorism, causing widespread injury or damage, aggravated assault, burglary, criminal mischief, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose. Hargreaves is currently in custody at a local county jail, with authorities continuing their investigation into the incident.
