@alicethieu: Minase Jingu Shrine🎐 A small Shinto shrine located in Shimamoto near the border of Osaka and Kyoto Prefectures famous for its well water and annual wind chime festival. 💦 The well water at Minase Jingu Shrine ranks among the best 100 natural water spots in Japan. Water can be drawn from 6AM to 5PM for free up to 20 liters per person. 🎐 While shrine grounds are beautiful year round, in the summer visitors can enjoy the display of wind chimes and windmills. The wind chimes are on display from July 1 to September 9 with evening illuminations on weekends in August. There is a ¥500 fee for the illuminations. 🚃 The nearest train stations are Shimamoto (JR) and Minase (Hankyu).
