@lesliecfitness: Unsupportive Spouse Crushes Wife’s Fitness Dreams” 3 1/2 years ago my husband told me it wasn’t a good idea to hire a coach to help me on my fitness journey… His reasoning was that it was around Christmas time and we had 3 kids to buy for. I sat in that for a week. Everyday for that week I kept waking up miserable everyday like I had been for months. Nothing getting better. I was still crying everyday getting dressed because I hated everything on me. Some nights even crying because I felt so ugly , and felt horrible in my relationship. My back constantly hurt due to all the extra weight. I was tired AF all day long, have ZERO energy to even want to play with my kids or get off the damn couch. I was fed up. & decided on my own, that I respected his opinion but I went ahead and invested anyways because i NEEDED to! I NEEDED to make a change and I did not want to keep living in a body I hated.
