The Georgia statute, modeled after the federal one, is broader in scope. 📚🏛️ What's fascinating is that you can be prosecuted for actions that didn't even occur in Georgia, as long as they're connected somehow. 🌐🔗 That's no uncommon but also not standard in the legal world. With about 40 predicate acts that, taken together, could qualify as racketeering under Georgia law—even seemingly minor offenses could lead to RICO charges.
