The oil maybe be a reaction from your scalp since the bamboo brush is meant to stimulate it. Double cleaning w/ shampoo might help :)

Just got a wood hair brush last week, this week my scalp felt so much more greasy and needing to wash sooner than expected. I typically was every 3 days with a double cleanse but I haven’t been able to go as long. Glad to hear that is indeed as a result of using the brush
