@finchandfolly: This is my bliss✨ Tis’ the time of year where every surface of my studio is covered in bowls, baskets and jars of seeds, herbs, gourds, beans and flowers. These treasures here will brighten many a dark night. I used to struggle with our loss of daylight, but now, I try to embrace it as a time to sit, reflect, rest and enjoy. I fill the studio with candle light, good tunes, a nice drink and I slowly sift through my seeds, hand-shucking each pod to joyfully capture each and every seed. Last night it was petunias and nicotiana. Tonight, it’ll be larkspur and nigella’s turn. Over these next few weeks, evenings will be spent plucking herbs from their stems, bundling botanicals for hanging, potting up coleus cutting, freeing runner beans from their pods, and shucking lots and lots more seeds. All together, this collectively becomes my favorite harvest of the season, for these treasures seed next year’s garden dreams. Who else can’t find their tabletops?🧡 #autumngarden #gardenharvest #slowliving #hyggehome #gardenvibes #gardencore #fairycore #nesting #cozyhome #gardeninglife
