My dad was never the same when he came home from Vietnam 😭 he started drinking heavily and in the end he and my mother divorced 😭 the drinking killed his body 😭 he died when I was 16😭🥺

My grand father was an artillery gunman on a war ship. “Softening up” front lines and bunkers as well as beaches and hill sides.. he says he wasn’t shot because the 17-18 inches of steel deflecting rounds.
