Brock Berry :
I wanna start reading but the books are just so expensive. Any suggestions on cheap options?

there's a passage I think in Feast where Martin describes the life of a peasant that's maybe the best he's ever done

Ahh the perfect ending to a book series that has done nothing but say winter is coming, some conflict in late summer.

Do you think if we actually get Winds that Dream would be much easier for him to write? And faster?

I mostly disagree because it’s a song of ice and fire- the dragons and others need to dance to their song

I think that’s what so special about AFFC, we get to see the aftermath from the war and how the common people were affected during the war.

I sort of like this trilogy as a “War of Five Kings”. I’ve been thinking about rereading and I might stop at 3.

I can't imagine reading the first 3 and resisting reading everything there is. I lack the self control.

Disagree. I feel like it would be a story about "just a failed rebellion" which feels lacking. But better than ending with dance.
