In Korean we do this too, but if we use polite endings for the more casual words it’s “okay”ish. Does this work for Japanese too? Like using miru

弊社は敬語ではなくてへりくだるので謙譲語だと思う。でも謙譲語概念は欧米の人には難しいかもね。

This is very similar to French. We use a form of conjugation that obly exists in written/polite French but you'll never hear anyone speak that way.
