Teacher here. Starting salary in Ky for teacher is 37k in my district. That’s someone with a 4 year degree.

don't forget that usually you need to make 3x rent to qualify for that apartment, so even if you find something cheap, you need to make $3k minimum

I have to add in this. job provided Heath insurance, taken out of your check before tax, is $400 for just me, per month. so id say it's even higher.
