• budgeting is keeping you broke now obviously, I’m not saying to spend every dollar you make😂 You should still know where your money is going and spend intentionally, but there’s only so much you can cut out.. Your income, on the other hand, has a lot more room to grow!! Saving an extra $200 a month is great, but figuring out how to make an extra $2,000 a month can completely change your financial situation. At some point, instead of constantly asking “what else can I cut?” start asking “how can I earn more?” • you probably don’t need a financial advisor I totally get that we are not taught about personal finance growing up but basic, long-term investing is something you can absolutely learn yourself, and there are SO many free resources to teach you. Plus, becoming financially literate is one of the most valuable things you can do for yourself. and idk about you but i’d much rather understand where my money is going and why than blindly hand it over to someone else AND pay them a % to manage it for me • credit cards were never bad the people that taught you credit cards are bad are the same people that were never taught how to use a credit card properly babe… if you never spend more than you have and always keep your utilization low, credit cards will be nothing but good to you and give you free points / cashback for every single purchase and be the biggest life hack • buying a house just because you can afford one is terrible financial advice i feel like most of us grew up thinking buying a house is the ultimate sign of doing well financially and renting is “throwing money away,” but buying a house has plenty of money you’ll never see again too like: interest, property taxes, insurance, repairs, etc and sometimes renting for less and investing the difference can put you in a way better financial position than becoming house poor just to say you own a home🫣 what’s financial advice you believe in that you’d probably get hate for ??? lmk! and as always i have a free finance guide at the top of my page and i’d love to be your financially literate friend 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼🥰 #financialaidadvice #financeadvice #financialliteracy #financialadvisor #moneytips
