@underatinroof: Old-Fashioned Candy Apples 🍎 Let’s make a candy apple from 1908 together. These autumn treats were created during the early 20th century by William W. Kolb from New Jersey. He had created a red cinnamon candy that he was trying to market to the general public by creating a window display with candy coated apples. I bet that you can guess which candy became the popular choice! 😂 This recipe will be featured in our Victorian Halloween Special coming to our YouTube channel this Friday! 🎃 This recipe is technically not Victorian, but I couldn’t resist giving it a try for this episode. I certainly did not make them correctly on the first try! 😂 Recipe is on the blog today 🍎🍁 #candyapples #candymaking #bakergirl #victorianera #historybounding #historicalrecipe #vintagerecipe #vintagestyle #vintagevibes #halloween #spookyseason #feedfeed #buzzfeast #foodart #vintagehalloween #fyp
