@darlingtravels.blog: This trail in New York takes you past 19 waterfalls ✨ The Gorge Trail in Watkins Glen State Park is one of the most enchanting trails I've ever been on. The hike is about 1.5miles long and has 800 steps. I made many stops along the way so I honestly didn't feel the 500ft elevation gain. The State Park is open year round but the Gorge trail does close from late October to late May depending on conditions (It can get extremely icy, flooded, and unsafe). last year it didn't close until November so make sure to check conditions before visiting! Dogs are not permitted on the gorge trail but you can take them on the north rim trail. This trail can get BUSY so make sure to arrive early and beat the crowds for the best pictures.
